Privacy Policy

What we collect. Account details (name, email, phone); professional details you provide (license tier and states, certifications, equipment experience, union status, experience, compensation targets, availability, location, bio); company details for employers; content you create (listings, messages); placement records (reported salary, dates, confirmations); and basic technical data (logs, device/browser information).

How we use it. To operate the platform: showing profiles and listings according to your visibility settings, enabling messaging, tracking introductions and placements under our placement agreements, sending notifications you can control at Settings → Notifications, preventing fraud and fee circumvention, and improving the service.

Who sees what. Electrician profiles are visible to employer accounts according to your visibility setting — open and passive profiles are visible; stealth profiles are hidden from all searches. Your email address is never shown to other users. Messages are visible only to conversation participants. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers. We use infrastructure providers to run Conduit — currently Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Mapbox (maps), Resend (email), and AI providers for optional job-description extraction. They process data only to provide their services to us.

Your rights. You may access and update your information in Settings at any time. You may request a copy or deletion of your personal information by emailing conduit.support.CHANGEME@gmail.com; we honor verified requests within the timelines required by applicable law (including the CCPA for California residents). Note that records of placements and introductions may be retained as needed for contractual and legal purposes.

Retention & security. We keep data while your account is active and as required for the purposes above. Access is protected by row-level database security; secrets are held server-side only.
